交大建築研究所特別邀請參與北京Steven Holl Architects在北京當代MOMA「LINKED HYBRID」（入選2007世界十大建築奇蹟）的日本建築師 平原英樹(Hideki Hirahara)到交大建築所研究演講(Lectures of Young Architects & Designers Series)。

平原英樹於東京理科大學畢業後,1997與合伙人創立Archum建築師事務所,並已在日本獲得多項競圖. 2000年赴紐約並於次年取得哥侖比亞大學建築碩士學位.
2002至2009年加入史蒂芬霍爾建築師事務所(Steven Holl Architects)膺任高級理事職位, 期間設計參與的國際性建築案已數次獲獎. 由其擔綱為主持建築師的北京當代MOMA(Linked Hybrid)更遴選為”2009年世界最佳高層建築”大獎
平原英樹也負責事務所北京辦公室的管理工作, 並多次受邀就日本和中國的建築經驗發表演講.

After graduating the Science University of Tokyo in 1997, Hideki established Archum, architectural design firm, as one of partners, and received several awards for his projects in Japan. He moved to New York City in 2000, and graduated from Columbia University in 2001. Hideki collaborated with Steven Holl Architects as Senior Associate during 2002 to 2009, and contributed to many international award-winning projects. He was chief architect for Beijing Linked Hybrid, which was selected as the Best Tall Building in the world in 2009. Hideki was involved in managing Steven Holl Architects Beijing office since 2006. He has a number of lectures in Japan and China regarding architectural practice in China.

被美國「BUSINESS WEEK商業週刊」喻為中國當代建築奇蹟之一的「當代MOMA」，是中國大陸唯一入選的住宅大樓，由世界前10大建築師史蒂芬‧霍爾（Steven Holl）設計。構思來自法國野獸派畫家馬蒂斯的名作「舞蹈」，將當代MOMA的9棟建築當作跳舞的人，用懸浮的8座天橋串聯每一棟大樓，成為名副其實的空中之城。
