英國Chengzhi Peng彭誠治教授交大建築所演講uCampus

在四月12日（星期一）的中午我們邀請到來自於英國的Chengzhi Peng（彭誠治教授）進行演講、分享他近期在英國所發展的研究。彭教授在台灣東海建築系畢業之後前往英國進修，之後取得英國的碩博士學位、停留在英國發展，並已經在雪菲爾大學 (the University of Sheffield) 建築系任教多時。彭教授本次來台灣的主要目的是到台灣科技大學建築系進行約兩週的短期課程與學術交流，十分慶幸在他密集的行程中有機會能邀請他過來所上演講！
演講將以彭教授近期完成的uCampus研究專案為主軸、介紹數位虛擬城市如何能夠輔助城市的設計規劃，以及如何利用這樣的web-based平台來支援校園內部的協同式建築設計。本演講會是交大建築所同學不容錯過的學習機會，也開放讓有興趣的校外同學參加！
以下是uCampus專案的簡介：
uCampus is a JISC Institutional Innovation Programme project undertaken in the
School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield. The main aim of the
project is to create a Web-based 3D interactive visualisation modelling
platform called uCampus to effect participative and collaborative planning
and design of future learning spaces. The talk will also cover some initial
thought of how such virtual campus can be turned into a digital laboratory
for architectural design and research.
