2007倫敦設計嘉年華
不過，雖然展覽過去了，
再加上身在台灣的我們，也比較沒成本(交通、時間)去那邊看…
還好，網頁裡面的資料和訊息還不少，

100% Norway↓
Last year, visitors to 100% Norway were treated to a spectacular show of the best of Norwegian design from cutting edge architecture to citybike schemes. For 2007 the show goes from macro to micro, zooming in to take a closer look at the elements that make this country one of the world’s most exciting centres for design and creativity.
Including new work - from Norway Says, Catherine Maske, Sari Syväluoma and Anne Haavind among many others - this exhibition will provide an insight into the long tradition of glass, porcelain and textile design in Norway, and show how with beautiful, innovative new pieces contemporary designers are now breaking the mould.
100% Norway 2007, once again curated by Henrietta Thompson, will this year occupy stand K4 at 100% Design at Earls Court from 20 - 23 September. The exhibition is organised by the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Innovation Norway, the Norwegian Design Council and the Norwegian Association of Arts & Crafts, with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SeaCargo. This will be one show not to be missed!
Bene - Debate: Through the looking glass ↓
Bene's RF system is an elegant glass paneling and partitioning solution, creating seamless, transparent walls and corridors. Richard Bennett, a design director at Shor Associates describes not only its unusual specification, but also its aesthetic benefits, within the London offices for American law firm, Paul Hastings Janofsky and Walker LLP. Human behaviour expert, David Firth considers the impact of the transparent office environment, providing insights into the opportunities and challenges for open communication.
Richard Bennett at Shor Associates is an advocate for bright and open offices that provide continuous views throughout the interior environment that in turn facilitate the interplay of communication and concentration. He expands his ideas about the use of glass within offices - where it has effective impact, and also when it is inappropriate. Shor Associates, working with lead de-signers DMJM Rottet, based in Los Angeles, have jointly designed the new London offices for Paul Hastings Janofsky and Walker LLP legal firm.
David Firth considers how space can be used to effect and encourage open communication, conversation and debate to create positive work environments. How do people respond to glass offices? What is the impact of a glass corridor? Do transparent partitions create transparent management? Will glass offices create paranoia or opportunities for building personal trust. David Firth gives a thought provoking presentation on the impact and positive possibilities that transparent structures create in the contemporary office.

Artemide, the leading Italian lighting manufacturer, will create an installation in the ground floor of Aram Store to celebrate, among others, new lighting designs by Ross Lovegrove and Naoto Fukasawa including Lovegrove's Mercury, Droplet and Aqua lamps and Fukasawa's Itis table lamp.
ARAM is a destination store. As well as offering an unsurpassed range of furniture, lighting and accessories, an entire floor has been set aside to show experimental or new work by up and coming designers continuing the process that Zeev has championed for over thirty years.

The work of product and furniture designer Brodie Neill who combines innovation in design with a highly sought after and sophisticated style will be exhibited. Regarded as one of design's top emerging talents, this is a rare opportunity to view his decadent works as presented in Milan and New York. Through exploring design in the realm of digital technology enhanced by a progressive manufacturing approach; his works demonstrate the evolution of design in the twentieth first century. With seamless and fluid-like forms, these pieces are lustruous and enchanting, revealing his passion and scope for a sleek contemporary style.
